On 9 December 2020 we met for our second digital breakfast for dialogical knowledge transfer, to discuss in a relaxed atmosphere, while having an extensive breakfast in front of the screen. 

This event was already the second of a discussion group which, through several meetings until the end of 2021 (next one to be expected in April 2021), aims to develop a better understanding of meaningful formats of dialogue transfer based on the needs of the various actors. 

In our prelude meeting on 30 October 2020 we tried to identify common already available experiences, expectations and hopes about dialogical knowledge transfer. Our goal for the second meeting is to review the results of the first breakfast and to set a route for our further exploration. Therefore, we will include some first hand experience from practice: How do actors from various fields reflect on knowledge transfer within their own institutions? We discussed these questions with: 

• Anna Fiedler (Adam Mickiewicz University Poznań): Third Mission – Science Shop – community-based participatory research 
• Dr. Tetiana Kyselova (Kyiv-Mohyla-Academy): Academic knowledge production with practitioners from the fields of human rights and peace building
• Dr. Stefanie Orphal, (Centre for Eastern Europe and International Studies, Berlin): Crucial directions of science communication: involvement of actors from the cultural sector into politics and a broader public
