Joint excursion for local specialists in the field of sustainable agriculture and local development in Ukraine and Germany

In cooperation with local partners, we want to organise one excursion each for young specialists in the field of sustainable agriculture and other topics of local development in Germany and Ukraine and maybe also in other countries participating in Ukraine Calling.

During the excursions, the participants will learn about topics of sustainable development in the field of agriculture in the respective regions. Depending on the project partner, other current issues of local sustainable development will also be addressed. The aim of the project is to enable an exchange between experts from the respective countries in the field of sustainable development and to identify relevant interfaces between various sectors of local development, among other things, sustainable agriculture. Through panel discussions, lectures, and visits to local farms and other organizations active in the field, we want to jointly deepen, expand and, above all, exchange our expertise. The project shall bring together local actors, experts, and decision-makers. In addition, cooperation opportunities between Germany and Ukraine will be explored.

For this project, we would like to enter into exchange with other organisations in the partnering countries of Ukraine Calling that deal with different or similar issues as Apollo e.V. The aim is to develop interdisciplinary and cross-sectoral excursions that address different issues of sustainable development. The planned expert excursions aim to combine different topics of sustainable local development in order to provide valuable training and knowledge transfer in this field.
