Voices from Ukraine: “Social Activism and Media Development before and during War Time in Ukraine”

On Thursday, 3 March, 1.30 p.m. (CET), we at the European University Viadrina will launch the new event series “Voices from Ukraine”, with which we would like to offer Ukrainian academics an opportunity to speak about the current situation in Ukraine and present their research.

Timofii Brik (PhD), Assistant Professor at the Kyiv School of Economics, will speak on the topic “Social Activism and Media Development before and during war time in Ukraine”. Prof. Dr. Oksana Mikheieva, DAAD Visiting Professor at the European University Viadrina, will comment.

The series “Voices from Ukraine – Writing and Researching in War: Dialogue with Scholars from and in Ukraine” will take place every Thursday at lunchtime in the upcoming weeks. It is a cooperation of Viadrina Institut für Europa-Studien (IFES) and the project Ukraine Calling.
